BIBLE TEXT: GALATIANS 6:1 TEACHER: PRAYER
Dear Father, we thank You for all You have done for us, we bless Your Holy name because You will forever remain God. Lord, we come humbly before You as those who are without understanding, please give us knowledge, and open our understanding today for Your word to impart our lives, in Jesus Christ name.
Amen STUDY: KJV:Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. AMP:Brethren, if any person is overtaken in misconduct or sin of any sort, you who are spiritual [who are responsive to and controlled by the Spirit] should set him right and restore and reinstate him, without any sense of superiority and with all gentleness, keeping an attentive eye on yourself, lest you should be tempted also. Galatians 6:1 KJV Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Paul in his letter to the Galatians, he started chapter 6 by saying if a man is overtaken in trespass, this means if a brother or a sister in Christ is overcome by a sin or more sins, you who is godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. From this, Paul says it is possible for a believer who is a child of God to fall into sin and that sin to overcome him.
